It will also channel the community energy to preserve and manage and also value the heritage as collective responsibility. This would also emphasis that irrespective of which ethnic/ religious root reflects these cultural and historical property it is nevertheless be viewed as part of  overall Sri Lankan heritage and therefore it is the collective responsibility of the immediate community to preserve and respect it.

Art Guest House

This is another project by Theertha for the promotion of art and to facilitate artists in residencies. It provides short-term modest accommodation to artists, writers and scholars who come to Sri Lanka on residency and study programs.

The Art Guest House functions as an apartment style accommodation where the guest do their own day to day cooking and cleaning etc during their stay. The management will do cleaning and linen change only once a week. The Art Guest House has two bedrooms (1 single & 1 double) with private bathrooms. It provides basic cooking, dinning and living facilities. The Art Guest House also displays artworks by contemporary artists and organize private viewings.
